The Woodland Carr

The Woodland Carr (wet woodlands) and open grassland along the eastern edge of the loch are fragile habitats for many birds and animals. Willow Tits nest in rotten tree stumps, birds nest on the ground in among the grass and many mammals and insects make the area their home. We ask that you do not stray from the marked footpaths and keep your dog close by at all times and not running through these areas.
